A Fruitful Partnership

Community Supported Agriculture

The Community Supported Agriculture model involves members or subscribers paying for a share of a farm’s produce at the start of the growing season. This payment helps the farm to purchase seeds, compost, irrigation, and everything else necessary to get things started. The subscribers then share in the produce on a weekly basis throughout the season. At Zozo Farms, we grow more than we need to fill our subscribers’ boxes, to ensure that you will be happy with each week’s delivery. (We donate excess produce to a food pantry in Albany.)

We always welcome feedback and, to the greatest extent possible, work to adapt our schedules and varieties to the tastes of our subscribers. At several points this year, we will also offer subscribers the option of purchasing large quantities of one or two items, for those of you who would like to put up food for the Winter.
